This #GoodNewsFriday, we hear about Walfinch Chiswick, Hammersmith and Kensington, who have been named as a top 20 home care provider.

Walfinch Chiswick, Hammersmith and Kensington has earned a prestigious spot among the top 20 home care providers in London, as recognised by homecare.co.uk. This achievement highlights the dedication and exceptional service provided by the team, led by Managing Director Tanya Santos.

The team won against fierce competition. There are 67,673 home care reviews of 12,697 providers listed on the site. Each provider's service is rated in five categories: staff, care/support, management, treated with dignity and value for money, based on published reviews from care clients, their friends and families.

Tanya Santos achieved an overall review score of ten, the maximum possible, based on 17 glowing reviews awarding her team five out of five stars.

Tanya said:

I think we get great reviews because our care is never limited to a pre-determined list of services. We ask clients what they want to achieve, and we do whatever it takes to help them

One person being supported praised her carer, saying:

I am exceedingly fond of my carer; we share the same standards, and going out with her is fun! I call her 'Speedy Gonzales' (when we use a borrowed wheelchair). I wish she was my granddaughter.

Tanya has also been recognised in the 不良研究所 Care Insight Power List 2024 under the Care Innovators section for the Walfinch Wellness initiative. This programme has resulted in a 35% improvement in client health and a 45% increase in staff job satisfaction. In addition to this, registered manager Magdalena Chmielewska was honoured as 不良研究所 Care Insight's Leader of the Future 2024 winner, highlighting her exceptional leadership approach within the care sector.

Winning the 不良研究所 Care Top 20 Award has significantly boosted morale and motivation across the workforce, and for those who draw on care and support, the award increases trust and confidence in their services.

Walfinch Franchise CEO Amrit Dhaliwal said:

Congratulations to Tanya and her team. Awards like this inspire care teams to deliver the highest quality of care, which benefits everyone.

Caregiver Basma commented:

I鈥檝e experienced a strong sense of support throughout my time here. The training and ongoing support have been exceptional, and the staff are always attentive and responsive. This award means a lot to me, as it reflects the high standard of care and dedication within the team. I鈥檝e also felt safe, reassured, and truly valued, thanks to the wonderful, supportive colleagues around me.

Recruitment coordinator Nicole added:

It's incredible to see the difference our carers make. Our clients are always delighted by our responsiveness to last-minute visits or requests. This award has highlighted the remarkable dedication of our carers, who consistently go above and beyond. Our company's values鈥攖eamwork, integrity, excellence, and fun鈥攕hine through in every staff member. Personally, I've learned so much from everyone and am extremely grateful to be a part of Walfinch.
