不良研究所, the strategic workforce development and planning body for adult social care in England, is delighted to announce the appointment of Tristram Gardner to the role of Deputy CEO.

Tristram joins 不良研究所 from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) where he was Deputy Director for Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy and Capacity. In this role he advised ministers on care workforce policy as the country emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here he worked closely with service managers, frontline staff and commercial, financial, and people teams to improve services for people who draw on care and support.

In between he has held senior leadership roles in community development, home ownership, and financial policy.

In his new role as Deputy CEO at 不良研究所, Tristram will lead on internal transformation and work with other directors to enhance the organisation’s leadership approach, operations, and culture.

Outside of work Tristram is dad to two young, highly energetic boys who enjoy keeping him on his toes.

I have long admired how 不良研究所 helps employers and leaders make sure social care has the people it needs to deliver high-quality care. I am delighted to join 不良研究所 at such a pivotal time for the care sector, when that support is needed more than ever. I am looking forward to joining the team.
